Sounds Global comprises of 7 friends who each bring something unique to the group. Enjoy listening to an eclectic group of instruments including ukuleles, guitar, melodicas, marimbas, harp and percussion.  Sounds Global’s sound is perfect for traditional folk music and they enjoy playing music from all over the world.

Enjoy the music & works of Brendan Wakely performing original guitar instrumentals, singing songs from the heart with rich & earthy vocals of his homeland & songs of Tasmania. The music & guitar works of Brendan Wakely will create an ambience to Ecofest 2025 with beautiful guitar music in the air.

Anywhere Beach

The Wild Women of Anywhere Beach, Cathy Welsford and Angie Smith, are legends in the folk and festival world with their funny, poignant, uplifting shows chock full of contemporary folk songs that deftly, often humorously, offer potent insights into a broad array of home-grown topics. Wildlife preservation, relationships, feminism, neighbourhood blues, some of the joys of aging, rural life, heroism and standing up to tyrants are amongst the themes they expertly condense into three-minute gems with the talented musicianship and clever lyrics. Their performances are invariably greeted with enthusiastic acclaim and there’s a high chance you’ll have their song choruses stuck in your head long after the show.

Women Who Drum

Formed out of the ongoing weekly drumming workshop facilitated by Lavender Lily in Sheffield. This group has been playing together for three years, exploring African, World, and Improvised beats and rhythms. Women Who Drum performed as a part of the opening concert at the Mt Roland Folk Festival in 2023 and 2024 as well as Eco fest in 2023.

Exhale Choir is more than a choir—they are a movement dedicated to harnessing the transformative power of singing to boost physical and mental well-being while building connections that end loneliness. They come together from all walks of life.  Directed by  Alex Morse, accompanied by Meg Magupa and assistant Angela Polden, together they love how singers can leave all of their thoughts, worries, stressors and  Their mission is simple yet profound: to uplift our community through song, empower individuals to thrive through better health, and create bonds that transcend the everyday challenges of life. You can join them all on Wednesday Evenings at the Lifeway Baptist Church on William Street in Devonport at 7.00pm. Everyone is warmly welcome.

Danceable songs and stacks of great harmonies with covers by an eclectic mix of artists, including Missy Higgins, Steely Dan, Beatles, Paul Weller, Tom Waits, Bonnie Raitt and many more. Grounded in percussion and bass, with 2 guitars, 2 lead singers and lots of woodwind.

Marcus Wynwood

Performing on Main Stage

Sunday 1.15pm

Marcus's exciting guitar playing, thoughtful lyrics, and engaging style of songwriting will make you stand up and pay attention. Either playing gentle acoustic guitar, or energetic post-punk/indie-folk, the Australian guitarist, singer, and songwriter shows no signs of slowing down. Featured in Australian Guitar Magazine as a "Guitarist to Watch", Marcus has well and truly earned his title.

Wendy, Nick and Bruce

Wendy Moles, Nick Hart and Bruce Innocent present a sweet mix of swinging tunes and great blues. Nick’s versatility and panache on guitar accompanies Wendy’s mahogany voice and is bedded in rhythm by master percussionist Bruce on the djembe. This trio know how to entertain!
